🎤 I have been to SEEC since 2009 and to share my experience, I have written the following prayer for SEEC 2021 as I seek God and reflect.
Dear Father God, thank you for your love and mercy. Thank you for blessing SEEC with your presence, power, and grace. There have been too many wonderful memories and special encounters and I probably won’t do a good enough job in recounting them all.
One of the many highlights would be group discussion times. Thank You Lord for bringing around 10 unique individuals together during this 5-day conference. It has been truly beautiful to journey with each other as we ate together; laughed together; shared our stories; stayed up late (oops!); cried together; prayed together; and posed for silly photos. The lives that crossed paths and the hearts that poured out reflect your body on earth – the church. This was also the incubator for the faithful ones who took the leap to lead discussions and care for their group members.
Another one would be the ministry time on the fourth (and last) evening. This could well be the pinnacle of SEEC as You moved powerfully in our hearts spurring us on to follow You Jesus more whole-heartedly. Thank You Lord for this space, where hearts turned and returned to You. This was also where You put in brothers and sisters’ hearts the vision to serve You in full-time ministry.
SEEC will not be the same this year as it will be held online but I hope and trust in You Lord because You are the unchanging one and that You are going to pour out Your grace as people discover Your love afresh, or even for the first time. Father God, will you make us hungry for more of You. I pray that SEEC 2021 will be good soil for growth a hundredfold. We may be a broken vessel but we commit ourselves into Your hands for Your healing and restoration because You call us to be salt and light to a broken world.
