📜SEEC對每個人都有不同的意思,可能是初初認識神、決志信主、靈命成長、為主事奉等。
因為主的緣故,這個營會總是特別令人回味。每星期兩次,為你送上弟兄姊妹對SEEC的真情剖白!
🎤 In my second year of university, I was asked to take on the role of a group leader at SEEC. I was very hesitant to agree because that was my second year at SEEC but decided to do it anyway because people around me encouraged me to do so. I was one of the youngest in my group that year so it was terrifying at first and I worried a lot about what to do. But God showed me that he can work in miraculous ways that exceed our abilities. Out of my expectations, our group bonded so much over the few days. We shared about our weaknesses and struggles and grew and experienced healing together spiritually.
I think one of the most important lessons God has taught me through SEEC is the lesson of humility. That same year, I was serving on the SEEC worship team for my fellowship, and those who know me know that I love singing and leading worship. Our team needed more people on instruments, so I somehow ended up volunteering to play the drums, the instrument out of the others that I had the least experience and confidence in. That was a truly humbling experience. It took the “performance factor” in worship completely out of my mind, and I had no choice but to rely on God and my worship team members rather than my own talents or abilities. Although that worship session was nowhere near perfect, it really touched me and genuinely left me in awe of God’s glory and goodness. That feeling and lesson of humility have really stuck with me since then.
I’m sure everyone who has been to SEEC would agree that it is an intensive and tiring few days, but it is also an incredibly fulfilling and rejuvenating experience. I look forward to more of what God has in stock for me in future SEEC experiences!
