May God keep you and your loved ones safe and healthy during this time. Due to the unprecedented Covid-19 pandemic, SEEC 2021 will be held as an online conference. We are excited to share with you some of the details around how SEEC 2021 conference would be hosted:
[Conference format]
April 2nd (Fri) – 5th (Mon) 2021
The conference will be split (roughly) into 2x 3-hour sessions across Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with half a day on Monday. There will be an extended lunch break in between the sessions, with the exception of Good Friday to include a Meditation session and reflections.
[Conference fee & application]
As this year marks the 40th anniversary since SEEC began its first-ever conference and therefore to commemorate this special occasion, the application fee for this year will cost just £40 (£40 for 40th anniversary) It will be a single pricing scheme for the entire conference with applications opening on January 15th and ending March 8th 2021.
[Conference medium]
The SEEC 2021 committee is currently assessing different video conferencing options to host the conference. We will confirm the conference medium by the time of application opens on January 15th.
[Conference memorabilia]
As for conference t-shirts this year, we will still be doing them plus some other memorabilia on top as well. We will be sending them out as a care package before the conference starts so even though we will be attending the conference virtually, there are still physical things to tie in with the conference.
